ride.For over 24 years, MTM Ranch, Cave Creeks oldest Stables, has specialized in nothing but horseback rides. For our trail rides we keep an outstanding, young herd of American Quarter and Paint horses. You and your family from 6 years and up will be mounted 
on the most appropriate horse
for your age, size and
experience to best enjoy a trail
ride. Your horseback riding

magnificent scenery here on our
nature preserve. MTM Ranch,
located on the Willow Springs
Preserve, prides itself on
perfect picture taking
opportunities around every

to cross, no cars, no one else
but the horses beneath you, the
sky above you and the incredible
views beyond you. Located just
below the Southern Border of the
Tonto National Forrest and just
to the East of Spur Cross Nature
Preserve.  At MTM Ranch both first time
amateur and long time horse
enthusiasts will be thrilled
with their specially chosen
trail ride mount. The age and
fitness of our horses allows
them go where many can’t. Most
of these horses were trained
right here on the ranch and it
has made them especially fit
athletes for the job. Expert MTM
Ranch Wranglers will entertain,
enlighten and educate you and
your group on how to ride to the
best of your ability and
maximize the time you spend
trail riding with us. Individual
instruction is paramount here at
the MTM Ranch. No need for
anxiety here.Trail Rides here on the Willow Springs Preserve are rich in wildlife and history. Every day it is not 
uncommon to see herds of Arizona
Mule deer, Coyotes, Rattlers and
Javalina. For bird enthusiasts
our trail rides are always well
viewed from the sky by the
Mexican Turkey Buzzards, Red
Tail and Harris Hawk, Kestrel
and endless Finch and
Hummingbird species. They are
every where! Botanists will find quite a variety of Cacti and other Flora as well as a thoroughly educated guide to inform and entertain. We study all desert life and love to share. Just ask any question and we will be glad to answer.
