The MTM Ranch provides more than
a trailride, it provides an
experience. Enjoy one hour to
all day tours departing directly
onto the Willow Springs
Conservation Area trailsystem.
Each ride is more spectacular
than the last. The longer you
care to participate, the further
into the mountains you will
ride. The further from
civilization you go, the more
pristine the habitat that you
will witness becomes. Our
wranglers tell tales of the
Southwest, and accurately
provide information about the
flora and fauna of the High
Sonoran Desert. We love our jobs
in the great outdoors and it
really shows as we put great
effort into ensuring that you
get the most out of your time
spent with us. All of our rides
are exciting, not because of the
speed we travel, but the terrain
we travel upon.

The one
hour tour is a great starter
tour with trails both scenic and
simple. This tour is recommended
for children of six to seven
years and requires less ability
to handle a horse.
Our one
and a half hour tour is a
fabulous ride taking in more of
the higher mountain scenery. We
often times encounter large
herds of Arizona Mule Deer or
packs of the wiley Coyote.
Gambel Quail abound on the
mountain side and the
ornithologist is always
fascinated by Hawks, Kestrels,
Cardinals, Hummingbirds, Wrens
and other species, too numerous
to mention. The thrill of seeing
a rattlesnake is one to
remember!

The two
hour tour is by far our most
popular. It traverses all the
way around our entire ranch from
corner to corner and a large
desert mammal sighting is
commonplace. We are 90% sure we
will find you a critter.

Former Olympic Equestrian Coach, Jack LeGoff, with his
dear friends. Jack holds the record
as the winningest steeple chase
jockey in all of Europe. Mr. LeGoff
is of course the "father" of the
modern day Olympic sport of Eventing.
Formerly the headmaster at the Cadre
Noir, or French Riding Academy, Mr.
LeGoff is a dear friend and regular
rider at the MTM. What adventures we
have enjoyed!
